I have over a decade of experience in copywriting, CMS, professional social media and local press relations as well as a host of supporting skills such as photography and digital image manipulation.

If you know of a possible opportunity for a hard-working and creative communicator, or would just like to discuss some options then please get in touch. Ideally the job would be local and with part time hours.

Learn to Dance Contact Improvisation

This is a drop-in session for learning to dance contact improvisation, every Tuesday evening 7 - 9 pm in Oxford. In each two hour session, we'll learn the fundamental skills for dancing contact improvisation including: body awareness/somatics; giving and receiving touch; sharing our centre and weight-giving; distance and levels; floor skills including body surfing; lifts; bridges; and flying. We'll work in duets, trios and ensembles but most importantly we'll have fun!

Suitable for complete beginners and those who have attended our drop in classes or taster session on Tue 10 Oct.

Contact improvisation is a dance which originated in the 1970’s and which has now spread throughout the world. It’s often taught in university dance courses but it’s easy to learn and fun. It’s an improvised dance - a dialogue in movement - which has a fluid and dynamic form, and it’s social dancing; not stage dancing.

Please bring a water bottle and wear loose clothing in which you can move freely. We'll use the MPR (Multi-Purpose Room) on the lower floor of the University Club. All welcome including those not at the University.

Our classes are suitable for everyone of any age, gender or ability including those who are differently able. We were founded in September 2014.

PANTO: SLEEPING BEAUTY
Famous Chipping Norton Pantomime!

Sponsored by Kingham Hill School

Once Upon A Time there lived a Princess, her long-suffering Nanny, her doting Fairy Godmother, and grumpy old King Lenny.

On her 18th birthday, the Princess pricks her finger on a spinning wheel and falls deeply asleep. When she wakes up, exactly four hundred years have passed and things have got a whole lot groovier... But who just kissed her? What strange clothes everyone is wearing! And what's that music?!

Heaps of jokes, oodles of fantastic original tunes and a good dash of British History combine to make this a Sleeping Beauty like no other. From the glorious pageantry of the Tudors to the flower-powered freedom of the sixties, Chipping Norton's panto is the most spectacular, the most splendid and the most stupefying funny show of the year.

Anjali Dance Company presents
GENIUS

Anjali celebrates the creative abilities and artistic potential of people with learning disabilities and demonstrates exciting new possibilities in dance through its pioneering work. An exceptional group of dancers perform two dramatic explorations of genius in an inspirational performance full of talent and creative power. Gary Clarke’s Beethoven takes a darkly humorous look at the composer’s personal life and musical works; Lea Anderson has created a stylized exploration of the legend of the vampire Nosferatu.
