We are beginning our new children's Flamenco dance classes in Oxford with a couple of Flamenco dance workshops which will enable children to try out Flamenco dance for the first time. These workshops will take place in the dance studio at PEGASUS THEATRE, Oxford. This is a pleasant, light room with easy access and a fully sprung floor and mirrors, The workshops will be taught by our head teacher Rosa Maria, using specially recorded music. There will be two levels, one for younger children and one for older children and in these workshops the children will learn the basics of Flamenco dance, plus a selection of lively, interesting and highly enjoyable dances, which will encourage the children to explore the Flamenco dance style.
Following on from these workshops we intend to begin regular weekly Flamenco classes for children on Fridays at the same time, from January 2018. You will find more information on these workshops and on our children's classes on our website. Via our website you can access films and photos of our existing children's classes on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Our Oxford classes are taught by the senior Camino del Flamenco teacher, Rosa Maria and accompanied by guitarists/percussionists. These are popular, fun and highly enjoyable classes which are suitable for men and women. Flamenco isn't danced in partners and you don't need previous dance experience or a high level of fitness. You'll find more details on our beginners classes on our website and registration forms for this course are available from Monday 4 September. Via our website you can go to our Instagram and Facebook pages to see clips of our recent classes (including Beginners) in the lovely Rose Hill dance studio.
