Our next course for adult beginners is a 5 week course starting on Friday 28 April. It is suitable for adults of all ages and all levels of fitness and specifically people who are new to Flamenco dance or people who took our recent Beginners Flamenco dance courses in Oxford.

In this course you will learn Flamenco dance technique, rhythms and style as well as a complete original Flamenco dance. Flamenco is not a partner dance). The studios have sprung floors and mirrors. Teacher is Rosa Maria Reed (senior teacher Camino del Flamenco) who is a fantastic, inspirational teacher for adult beginners. The classes for this course are accompanied by a mixture of live (from our Camino del Flamenco guitarists and percussionists) and recorded Flamenco music.

About Contact Improvisation

Contact improvisation is a dance which originated in the 1970’s and which has now spread throughout the world. It’s often taught in university dance courses but it’s easy to learn and fun. It’s an improvised dance - a dialogue in movement - which has a fluid and dynamic form, and it’s social dancing; not stage dancing. Suitable for everyone, whatever your age, gender or dancing experience.

Note: Other Dance Sunday events are on: 21 May, 18 June.
