Flamenco Express in performance

This is the 6th year of our highly successful Spanish Nights, when professional Flamenco dance companies from Spain and the UK perform in the intimate setting of Oxfordshire's only Spanish Flamenco club. These shows always sell out as the intimate venue is perfect for seeing powerful and passionate Flamenco, so we recommend buying your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Our next Spanish Night on Saturday 11 June is a very exciting one as it features the legendary company "Flamenco Express" as part of their 20th anniversary UK tour. Joining them especially for this show is the award winning dancer Alejandro Molinero (Madrid) star of many of Spain's top dance groups including Ballet National de Espana, Compañia Javier Latorre and Concha Jareño. It´s not very often that a Flamenco dancer of this magnitude comes to dance in Oxfordshire! Joining him on stage are the driving force behind Flamenco Express, dancer La Joaquina and guitarist Chris Clavo. Also joining them for their 20th anniversary tour is singer Antonio el Pola. It is almost easier to list the top Flamenco groups he has not performed with as his CV reads like a who's who of the Flamenco world, including Paco de Lucia, Juana Amaya and Concha Vargas.

"Flamenco Express" will perform a theatre length show in two halves (40 - 45 minutes each half) with a 30 minute interval.

Our Spanish Nights are held in The Millers Bar (the private performance bar on the 1st floor) at The Mill Arts Centre).
Please note that a maximum of 65 tickets only will be available for this show.
Doors open at 7.30pm and the first show begins at 8.00pm.
After the final show you are welcome to stay till 10.15pm.

Tickets: £14.50 (available from The Mill Arts Centre box office in person, over the phone or via the website)
Ticket price include complimentary Spanish bar snacks on the tables and a glass of sangria.

The room is laid out cabaret style (tables and chairs of various sizes from tables for 2 to a table for 12) and is very friendly, welcoming and social.
Most tables seat between 6 - 10 people so expect to share a table for these nights, Spanish style.

TABLE RESERVATIONS
If you wish to pre-reserve a table for the show, please read the following information:
We have 2 tables for 2 people, 2 tables for 4 people, 1 table for 6 people and 1 table for 12 people which can be reserved in advance.
Apart from these tables no other tables are available to reserve and all other seating is Spanish style, at shared tables.
You can only reserve a table AFTER you book your tickets and you MUST reserve your table by contacting Camino del Flamenco (the event organisers) by email: production@caminodelflamenco.co.uk .

Drama and singing for adults
Fun, friendly and pressure-free

In a pressure-free, relaxed environment you will enjoy drama and singing workshops led by local actors, directors and vocal coaches. You won’t need to learn pages of script, there are no solos, no auditions, no expectations of experience, and never any pressure to do something you are not comfortable with. Filter out these concerns, and what you are left with is the pure fun of it: there is always a lot of laughter in our workshops.

During our classes you will have the chance to (re)discover your creative side, take your mind off everyday stresses, make new friends (or spend time with old ones) and, above all, have fun.

Find out about the classes and book your place by visiting the website, or contact Claire
