Justice in Motion first performed POVERTY ON THE TABLE in 2015, commissioned by OPHI. The piece is styled as a Pub Quiz, so let us immerse you in the world of POVERTY ON THE TABLE.

Today there are 1.1 billion living in poverty around the world. But how much do you know about the global poverty index or multidimensional poverty?

Leading Oxford based charities, OPHI (Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative), OXFAM, and CAP (Christians Against Poverty) get you up to speed with their work in tackling poverty locally and worldwide, while our quizmaster (and original performer in POVERTY ON THE TABLE, Alexander Luttley) poses the questions in an entertaining quiz. Prizes to be won!

The evening includes a screening of POVERTY ON THE TABLE.

This pub quiz is part of Justice in Motion’s Anniversary Exhibition in the Galleries from 20th February – 30th March. ‘10 Years in Motion’ features the ten productions created by the company in the past decade. Props, costumes, sections of theatre set, photographs, videos, music and soundscapes bring their history to life. Come behind the scenes to explore the objects, the environments and space with all your senses.
