Discover how food can connect us with one another and the world around us. In this special exhibition, we dig into local and global food stories.

Working closely with local community groups, this project is exploring the journey ‘from farm to fork’, both through the exhibition and the accompanying events programme. This encompasses the history of growing food in allotments, the making of famous Oxford foods, the selling of food in local shops and markets, and the cultural practices such as special occasion foods, feasts and gatherings, methods of cooking and preserving food.

See photos and objects showing how we have grown, harvested, foraged, made, preserved and enjoyed food over the years. Add your own voice: what are your food stories?
