Courses include all aspects of pottery – throwing, hand building and modelling. Many types of clay are available – stoneware, porcelain and crank. A wide selection of glazes, slips and decorating materials can be employed including the use of glass if desired. All students are individually taught and all the courses are suitable for complete beginners in addition to more advanced students. Firing is by the oxidation method using electric kilns. We also have periodic raku and pit firings.
