An accessible, flexible and low tech method of printmaking which can create unexpected results!

This two day course for complete beginners or experienced printmakers will introduce you to monoprinting techniques to make prints using your own source material, and how to:
use stencils, register to create complex layered prints
create chine collé to collage with your monoprints, use a press, equipment and the print workshop safely (oil based water soluble inks etc)

This course provides an experimental introduction to all of these techniques, as well as an understanding of colour and ink transparency through multi-layered printing.

This course also enables students to become probationary members of the workshop to access facilities, with view to becoming a permanent member.
