Gelli Plate printing is one of the easiest and most versatile forms of printing. Through demonstrations you will be shown how to print from leaves and stencils, and build up layers to produce beautiful delicate prints. You will be working with acrylic paints which dry quickly so you have to work fast, but there is no need for presses, and there is a lot less mess!

Helen Pakeman has 10 years of tutoring experience in printmaking. She has a BA in Drawing and has recently completed a Diploma in Art and Contemporary Crafts at West Dean. She is enthusiastic and encouraging, believing that art is for anyone who wants to have a go so complete beginners are welcome!
