Join Rosie Leech for a 5-week course in visible mending: the art of fixing a piece of clothing and turning it into a work of art.

In this course you’ll learn the techniques of Boro and Sashiko, two Japanese techniques for mending textiles. Boro uses overlapping and stitching pieces of fabric to mend a hole or tear in a garment, and Sashiko uses tiny embroidery stitches to create patterns on mended fabric.
