Black and white landscape photograph from the 1920s. A family sits on a beach looking at the photographer. On the left is a women in a wide brimmed sun hat and striped dress, sitting in a deckchair. What did you do on your holidays and days off? Remember the anticipation, the packing up, the journey and the things we did when we got there

Talking objects - how museum artefacts can help stimulate conversation, fun and memories. The Oxfordshire Museums Service Learning and Access team has been running object-based sessions with groups of older people since 2004. During this time, we have built up a wealth of experience, as well as a huge collection of fascinating stories from the people we visit.

Regular meetings
Our reminiscence sessions take place on the first Friday of each month from 2pm to 3.30/4pm in the Coach House at the Oxfordshire Museum. Sessions are free but a donation of £1 per person is very much appreciated. Tea and coffee will be served.
