Venue, Timing and Cost
Do you find shopping for a swimming costume something of a mission impossible? Would you rather design your own? This workshop will let you have a go at creating your own design, in response to your needs and preferences. The session will look at how costumes have evolved over the years, and how that linked to changing social norms. We’ll consider how we might design them differently if we consider a variety of needs related to our body types, access needs, gender identity, cultural backgrounds, and more, and draw our own designs. Led by fashion designer and facilitator Niki Groom (Miss Magpie Fashion Spy).
