A structured course suitable for beginners through to experienced painters, you will use still life as the vehicle through which you gain an understanding of the core principles of classical oil painting. You will learn how to break your subject down visually in order to paint it, different methods for creating an oil painting and different ways of applying paint. You will have time near the end to work on a longer project, using the principles you have learnt throughout the course.
