We are also happy to welcome Jackie Holderness, experienced author and formerly Education Officer at Christ Church Cathedral, reading ‘The Princess Who Hid in a Tree: An Anglo-Saxon Story’.
Aimed at children aged 5-9 years. Holderness tells the story of the Anglo-Saxon princess Frideswide who escaped and defeated the wicked king. She would later found a church on the site of Christ Church and become the patron saint of Oxford.
In addition to the reading, answering questions, and book signing, there will also be an activity for children to make their own crowns.
