The Artist Talk series takes place each month and is an opportunity to hear artists or art professionals talk about their practice. It is also an opportunity to network with other artists and there is time set aside for questions and conversations over a coffee.

This month it is the turn of professional sculptor and Art-Sauce tutor Roger Perkins. His current work investigates the fragility and mutability of Home. These three dimensional “line drawings” are intentionally fragile yet, hopefully, thoughtful expressions of the importance we place on the most basic of human needs- our relationship to our place of shelter and our relationships within them.

Art-Sauce is a dedicated visual arts Community Interest Company run by a passionate group of experienced artists based in the City of Oxford UK. Art-Sauce furthers its members creative development by providing a programme of workshops, courses, critiques, talks and social gatherings. Artists joining forces with Art-Sauce are in community with each other to develop skills, sources of inspiration and artistic abilities. The core learning programme is designed to stimulate creativity by inviting artists to take risks and develop an ever-evolving practice.
