Venue, Timing and Cost
Lower Windrush Choral Society will be performing Brahms' German Requiem, one of the truly great choral masterworks which, unlike most Requiems, focuses on comforting the living - those who mourn. The choir will be accompanied by two pianos, rather than the more usual orchestral accompaniment.
Soloists: Quentin Hayes (baritone) and Rachel Speirs (soprano)
Pianists: Benedict Wilson and James Winkley
The work will be sung in English under the direction of Terry McNamara.
