Venue, Timing and Cost
Oxford Improvisers return to the welcoming atmosphere of the Cafe at the Old Fire Station in the heart of the city for a drive-time concert music making with all proceeds going to homelessness charity Crisis who share the centre with Arts at the Old Fire Station.
The evening’s entertainment focusses on vibrant improvised music from Oxford itself with performances by Oxford Improvisers including:
Mark Browne (saxophones), Lawrence Casserley (assorted sounders), Jill Elliot (viola), Dan Goren (flugelhorn/trumpet), Bruno Guastalla (cello), Martin Hackett (Synth), Suzanne Healey (percussion & toys), Paul Medley (clarinets), Chris Stubbs (treated esoteric percussion), Andrew West (viola), Clare Woodham (bass clarinet, voice), Philipp Wachsmann (violin).
The evening will also feature a brand new ‘composition’ created just before performances start at 6.30. Get there early to see the composition take form.
