Course description: Taught by established artist, Imogen Rigden, this three week course is designed to inspire and ignite the imagination! Initially creating drawn and painted sketches of an object of curiosity, participants will then be guided through the process of moving those sketches away from the literal towards the imaginative, while also investigating how contemporary painters work with the imagination. Join us for these three relaxing sessions in which there will be plenty of time to experiment with composition, tools and surfaces, in the pursuit of a final, unusual and intriguing painting!

Level of experience required to take part: Participants won’t need any experience – just a willingness to experiment and to work at a reasonable pace, with enthusiasm!
