‘Fearless, dazzling, exceptional’ (Guardian) – Tamara Stefanovich is a captivating presence on the international stage. Her busy schedule covers Europe, Asia and America and includes performances with orchestras, in ensembles, and as a soloist. She has a close working relationship with pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard and one of last season’s highlights was their duo performance of a contemporary programme in Tchaikovsky Hall, Moscow and in Amsterdam. Her 2022/2023 season opens with a return visit to King’s Place, London, for a recital of Bach, Rameau and Messaien.
Tamara Stefanovich’s repertoire is extensive, encompassing the 17th to the 21st century, and her programming is brave and original. Tonight, she performs a distillation of a 3-part, two and a half hour concert that she presented last season at Queen Elizabeth Hall, London. Centred on the form and history of the sonata, it is a fascinating programme, mixing the baroque with the modern while pointedly avoiding the more obvious proponents of the form.
Season Tickets are available to the entire SJE Arts International Piano Series (8 concerts) at a 25% discount.
