Volunteer Briefing & Social for Oxfordshire Great Big Green Week

Oxfordshire Great Big Green Week is 9 days of events (24th Sept - 2nd Oct 2022) to celebrate community action to tackle the climate crisis.

Last year Oxfordshire hosted over 100 events across the county, including tree planting, a natural dye workshop and a ‘Walk for Life on Planet Earth’. This year we want to make the week even better, and we need your help!

Oxfordshire Great Big Green Week will be kicking off with a launch event in Bonn Square on Saturday 24th September.

The local theme for this year is 'energy', in response to the current energy and cost of living crisis. With prices due to rise again at the start of October, these events aim to raise awareness and highlight some of the ways that we as individuals and communities can work together.

All of these events will be people powered, in that they're for the people by the people. We need people like you to steward events, assist with creative workshops, take photographs, gather feedback and help with coordination if possible.

Join the community, have fun, grow your CV and meet like-minded people along the way by volunteering with Oxfordshire Great Big Green Week!

Come along to this event to find out more and meet others that are involved, and register to volunteer here.
