Get into the Strictly spirit with a social dance class where your queerness is totally welcome! Hosted by Rachel Sparks Dance - have a taste of Ballroom Tango with gender neutral partnering.

This event is part of T(ART) Pride festival- a gorgeously queer festival celebrating YOU.

You’ll be eased into learning with mindful exercises to develop embodied awareness around consent in partnering. We want to ensure a safe, fun environment for dancing, where you can be your full self and dance whichever role you like. This is a casual class.

Sessions will run for 90 mins and will integrate breaks and time to connect and chat.

Do I need dance experience?
Not at all! These events are very much aimed at people who are new to dancing and partner dancing. Rachel is highly experienced in teaching people who find dance classes an anxious place and will do her utmost to ensure you feel comfortable.

How can I access a free supported ticket?

How are you making this event COVID-safe?
We're committed to making our events as safe as possible for everyone attending. If you're showing symptoms of COVID, or testing positive on a lateral flow on the day of the event, please do not attend. We understand these tests are no longer free, and we do not want the cost to be prohibitive, so proof of a negative test is not currently a requirement to attend our events.
