Oxford Improvisers collective presents another performance of freely improvised music at the Old Fire Station. They are joined by New-York-based singer Viv Corringham. Her work includes performance, installations, radio and soundwalks. She is a 2012 and 2006 McKnight Composer Fellow through American Composers Forum, 2015 resident artist at Harvestworks Media Arts, NYC and is certified to teach Deep Listening by Pauline Oliveros. Her work has been presented in twenty two countries on five continents.

Freely improvised music is devised and played in the moment by the performers. Each performance is a unique instance of music and depends on skilled listening and responsivity on the part of the musicians.

Viv will perform solo, and in trio and quartet with members of Oxford Improvisers. There will also be two ensemble pieces including a performance of "Quiet Ecstasy Without Parenthesis" devised by Mark Browne.

Oxford Improvisers operate a "Pay what you want" ticketing policy.
