The walk celebrates the work of Oxford scholar, Robert Burton, whose remedies for low mood and sadness include walking, nature and company.
Burton’s research about causes and treatments for melancholy is presented as part of a fascinating exhibition at Weston Library in Oxford. This shows how his 16th century ideas are in tune with modern advice about the benefits of being active in nature.
Last chance to visit: the exhibition ends on 20 March
