Learn about the endangered craft of straw work, corn dollies and straw plaiting. At the workshop, you will learn how to prepare the straw as well as some of the traditional plaiting techniques used in corn dolly making. Once you have learnt the plaiting techniques you will be able to make and take home a straw heart or Mordiford heart corn dolly. Suitable for newcomers and those with some straw work experience. All materials required for the workshop will be provided.
