Textiles in Oxford (TIO) is a lively group interested in all aspects of textile media, from the latest contemporary artists and trends to the more traditional techniques and historical sources. We meet monthly to enjoy a talk by a practicing textile artist or knowledgeable expert. We enjoy exchanging ideas and chatting with our tea and cake! Come and meet us, hear the talk or decide to join our group, you'd be made very welcome!

Working in Series by Kate Findlay is a talk encompassing Kate’s different styles of work over the last 15 years. It includes highlights from the Hadron Collider series, the Henley series, some of her licensed work and her landscape and animals series

This talk is an hour in length, with opportunities to ask questions at the end too. It is a Powerpoint presentation and includes short videos as well as many illustrations of Kate’s work. Kate will have examples of her work to handle/view. There will also be a small selection of cards, her books and other items for sale.
