Join our online Watch Party for the first micro gig in our Live Session Series, starting with Alabaster de Plume. His bite-sized set with his band was beautifully captured on film at Oxford's Covered Market. The resulting video was produced in collaboration with Upcycled Sounds.

Head to Upcycled Sound's YouTube channel at [insert time] on Weds 26th May to be among the first to watch the performance.

Composer, saxophonist, activist and orator Alabaster dePlum was one of the jazz sensations of 2020. His music is inspired by work in mental health support.

For his Live Session, de Plume and his band create gentle melodies with vocals that are full of love, encouragement and empowerment, reflecting on the changes and challenges of life. His low-key sax and vocal style are accompanied by lilting guitar, delicate drums and warm backing vocals.

Our Live Session Series takes place online over the summer of 2021. Handpicked bands and musicians were given exclusive access to Oxford's Covered Market, performing in the walkways of this iconic space for you to enjoy at home. See our What's On page, or follow us on Facebook / Instragram and subscribe to OCM's and Upcycled Sounds' YouTube Channels to see the whole series.
