Learn sacred chant and folk songs for Easter in gorgeous three part polyphonic harmony.
This special one -off workshop promises to be both a profound and thrilling experience for experienced and new singers alike. No music reading skills needed.
Nino Naneishvili is an eminent musicologist from Tblisi. She founded the IALONI Women's Ensemble which gained the prestigious Grand Prix in Georgian Chant and a gold medal in Georgian Folk Song at the Tbilisi Choral Music Competition in 2017.
This is Nino's first visit to Oxford as part of her tour in the UK and she is keen to share this remarkable music from the Caucasus region .

UNESCO describes Georgian polyphonic singing as representing " the intangible nature of humanity".
