Presentations about FLOURISH. We are now tailoring FLOURISH to enable arts practitioners to work with patients with dementia on hospital wards and link them to arts and activities after discharge. FLOURISH for arts and health is part of CDAN’s new North Oxfordshire Arts Home from Hospital programme (NOAH).
Training workshops: Dance led by Rhonda Sparrey and Angela Conlan of Dance Creative, and Dr Richard Coaten and Diane Amans; Poetry led by John Killick and Antosh Wojcik ; Music led by Kate Wilkinson, CDAN Music Lead and Ben Heaney, National Health Music; Arts and Crafts led by Dr Lizzie Burns and Clare Carswell
A Literary Lunch with Nicci Gerrard, journalist, campaigner and author of What Dementia Teaches Us About Love and Marianne Talbot, Director of Studies in Philosophy at Oxford University Department for Continuing Education and author of Keeping Mum: Caring for someone with dementia.
