This course offers the opportunity to be gently guided through the fundamental building blocks of observational drawing. Designed with the beginner in mind, but equally enjoyable for anyone wishing to rekindle their love of drawing, Karen's courses deftly introduce interesting and challenging exercises to the class in a mindful and motivating way to develop her students' own competence, confidence and enjoyment of drawing from real life. New for 2020, you can choose to join the morning or evening course, depending on your schedule.

Week 1: 26th Feb - Media, Marks & Lines
Week 2: 4th March - Negative Space
Week 3: 11th March - Gesture Drawing
Week 4: 18th March - Contour Drawing
Week 5: 25th March - Measurement & Perspective
Week 6: 1st April - Tone, Volume & Form

A range of materials and equipment will be supplied as part of the course, including, individual A5 sketchbooks for you to keep and one-to-one e-mail support for those wishing to continue their practice outside of the weekly class. Light refreshments will also be provided.
