Valerie Price is a Freelance Botanical Illustrator, with work appearing in publications by Kew, the RHS, Collins, Dorling Kindersley, Quarto, and many others. She teaches Botanical Illustration around Oxfordshire. Her work has been exhibited with the Society of Botanical Artists, The Hunt Institute, in the USA, and in the Shirley Sherwood Gallery, Kew. She has written two books, ”Botanical Illustration the First Ten Lessons”, and “Botanical Illustration Colour an Composition’’ published by Bloomsbury.

This one-day course aims to inspire those with a love of wild flowers and the natural world, to observe and record the beauty of Spring wildflowers. Students will be taught to draw accurately, plan a composition, and paint in water colour to produce their own unique Botanical Illustration.
