All About Acrylics tutored by Yolande Nye is a course to provide a great opportunity to take on the challenge of acrylic paint & develop a comprehensive understanding of the medium & all its qualities & capabilities. A chance to use, explore & make a variety of tools & implements in order to generate your own signature mark making as well as mixing paint with other mediums. This course will take you through colour mixing & theory, & the practical study of other artists to inform your own work.
The acrylic course straddles the indoor, the outdoor, still life and the model, both from observation & aspects of your own research. Students will develop sketchbook skills and over the academic year will be involved in developing a personal project guided and supported by Yolande.
