Imogen Cooper is joined by regular colleagues Adrian Brendel and Henning Kraggerud in a programme celebrating Beethoven’s chamber music.
The concert opens with the spirited precision of the first piano trio written in 1793, and concludes with the solo Bagatelles.
After the interval we move into another world with the grandly spacious Archduke Trio (1811), with its symphonic first movement, sublime Andate cantabile and jubilant Finale.
