Join participants, Lead Artist Sunil Shah and Project Manager Naji Bagi to celebrate the launch of Activating our Archives. Drawing on ideas and themes present in Akram Zaatari’s The Script, this creative project investigates how we present ourselves and our communities online. Participants of the projects use photography, writing and other personal content to explore their lives and share experiences of their communities.

This event will include a tour of the Akram Zaatari’s exhibition The Script by Najia Bagi (book tickets for the tour here), an introduction to the project by Sunil Shah, and a presentation by the participants of images they have produced so far.

The Moving Image space will also be open all day for family activities inspired by both Activating our Archives and The Script.

This event is free and visitors can drop in at any time throughout the day.
