Learn to write a stage play!

Do you feel you have a stage play in you just waiting to come out? Have you an interesting story to tell? Starting on January 15th 2019, Living the Drama (www.livingthedrama.co.uk) is beginning an eight week course in playwriting for anyone between the ages of 50 and 90+.

Supported by AgeUK Oxfordshire, our next course starts on Jan 15th and will run every Tuesday afternoon (except March 5th), between 2.00pm – 4.00pm.

We’ll cover the following topics, with plenty of exercises and interaction:
• Developing a strong storyline
• Building the play’s structure
• Creating realistic characters
• Building tension and conflict following a narrative arc
• How to write naturalistic dialogue
• Formatting your script

By the end of the course you should have the first draft of your new short play!
At the time of writing there are only 3 places left so call Carolyn on 077822 59471 or email: carolyn@livingthedrama, to confirm your place.
