This exhibition is headlined by London based New Zealand born artist Alice Cescatti a Master Gillder renown for her light catching silver/goldleaf paintings on panel.
Artists include: Steve Whitehead. He likes the terms 'magic-realism' or ‘hyperrealism’ his paintings have strong design and skilful detail giving an almost surreal atmosphere that is instantly memorable. Whitehead’s subject matter is now principally involved with landscape and often features aspects of the moors, wolds and coast of North Yorkshire, where he resides. His style has echoes of Neo-Classical and Romantic painting of the 19th century as well as the influence of 20th century British and American Realists.
Paul Kessling trained as a sculptor under the tutelage of Sir Eduardo Paolozzi at the Royal College of Art. Huge mathmatical abstract oil paintings with much colour.
Paul Wright British Portrait Artist to include landscape,still life, abstract & monotypes.
Stuart Buchanan Scottish Artist works in the traditional medium of oils. His paintings are representational, with figures set in richly textured, colourful landscapes. His work depicts images of figures, usually imagined and anonymous.
