Join me each week for a few hours of fun and relaxation. As with my Saturday introductory painting classes, my evening courses are all about having a play, being curious and discovering what you can do with paint, rather than producing a perfect end result. Great for you if you haven’t been on any of my classes already, or if you have just been to one or two.

Painting: Getting Started

Over the 6 week course we will be experimenting with lots of different ways of applying acrylic paint, and having lots of fun in the process. We will be using brushes, our hands, printing, and adding textured mediums, as well as creating painted collages.

Each session starts with lots of warm up exercises to get you started / help you to loosen up after a day at work, and then there will be plenty of time to explore and experiment with the materials and techniques available.

At the end of the 6 week course you will have learned a lot about working with acrylic paint, what it can do as a medium, as well as learning what techniques you enjoy using best. You will finish the course feeling inspired and ready for more painting (and a trip to your nearest art shop)!
