Lunas Dance Project – There Are No Such Words

This exiting and varied triple bill will be one of the highlights of the Festival. Ellie Aldegheri’s work, There are No Such Words, is a contemporary dance piece exploring motherhood: its traditions, expectations, family relationships, the complex, rocky relationship and changing nature between mother and daughter. Joëlle Pappas brings to the stage 35 years of performing and teaching experience. Accompanied by live music, she explores the attitudes and behaviours of a complex character fervently looking for a sense of coherent identity. Yeah Yeah, We’re Doing This uses dance theatre to tackle themes of a provocational and autobiographical nature. Sermet and Orley, two far-from-conventional-individuals, invite you to witness their unexpected, rollercoaster of a journey.

This triple bill are new works that have been commissioned by Dancin’ Oxford and Pegasus Theatre.
