Extend your drawing skills and get creative with this in-depth course on experimental drawing

In this broad and exploratory course, you will develop your drawing skills by experimenting with different media, techniques and subject matter, considering drawing in its widest sense, from works on paper to ‘drawing sculpture’. Using artist references and guided exercises to inspire, individual approaches to project briefs are encouraged.

This course is taught by a tutor who has experimental methods and will provide inspiring examples to help you refine your own style. Classes are run with a low ratio of staff to students – approximately one tutor for every 15 students which allows for in-depth learning and development with Brookes experts. By the end of the course, you will have produced a collection of innovative and original drawings – perfect to add to your portfolio if you are considering applying to a foundation or degree course, or to simply get you started or inspire your continuing creative practice.

The course will be taught by Ruth Broadbent.

Wednesday evenings
21 February - 28 March 2018
