Learn with Lechlade Craft Barn how to create a professional scalloped edged lampshade, from covering the frame to making the shade, adding the lining and finishing.

No experience is necessary although some machine and hand sewing are required – use of a sewing machine is provided.

We supply a 12" scalloped edge empire lampshade frame. You will need to bring 1 metre of fabric of your choice. We have trimmings, but feel free to bring matching braid or make your own bias binding from your fabric choice.

Cost: £60 to include the lampshade frame and some materials, tea/coffee and a light lunch - please advise of any dietary requirements when booking.
Time: 10am – 4pm

Please bring –
• 1 metre of fabric, nothing too heavy or textured, flimsy or delicate. The fabric will be used on the bias, so please bear that in mind if you have a pattern
• A basic sewing kit to include pins, scissors, thimble, needle and matching thread
• Matching trim if required
