The historic St. Aldates Tavern in the heart of town is the venue for Bush Gothic's Oxford concert - part of a UK, Ireland, New Zealand & Australian tour to celebrate the release of their music video and single Jim Jones.

An Australian counter-culture folk band, Bush Gothic have been invited to play the main stage at Homegathering, a festival curated by The Unthanks. With a 5 Star review in BBC Music Magazine & fRoots Album of the Year Runner Up 2016, Bush Gothic assert their rebellious intentions by lovingly re-arranging traditional Australian folk music until the unfashionable is transformed into daring beauty.

Defiantly modern, achingly old, this most daring of bands perform songs of criminal women and desperate men from an era of transportation, adventure and gold.

The Guardian described fiddle-singer and band leader Jenny M. Thomas as an ‘Edgy rising folk star’ & together with double bassist Dan Witton & drummer Chris Lewis they will tour the UK, Ireland, Australia & New Zealand.
