Venue, Timing and Cost
A day of watercolour painting for beginners and those with experience. The day will start with demonstrations of painting techniques. If the weather is fine, students will be able to choose a site outside. The immediate surroundings of the school provide some excellent subjects, some easy, some more challenging, individual help will be given in choosing a site and producing a painting. If the weather is unkind, miniature landscapes will be set up indoors, providing students with a comparable range of subject matter to paint.
Materials: A sketch pad containing watercolour paper, 140lb thickness or more. Watercolour box with a range of colours and brushes including a No.2 and No.6 and a one-stroke brush. Small water bottle and container. A light camping chair would also be useful. (there are folding chairs available).
The School sell watercolour paper, charcoal, pencils etc.

Tea and coffee are available throughout the day, please bring a packed lunch.
