A fabulous, free, family-friendly event returns to Broad Street for the third time this year to launch Oxford Green Week.

The Big Green Day Out features arts and crafts, live entertainment, hands on workshops, science and tech showcase and a selection of delicious local food and drinks.

This year's event will also see the premiere of 'Re-Cycle' - a giant, outdoor, interactive sculpture made from old bicycle frames by artists Roger Perkins and Hugh Pryor from OVADA. Community Artist 'Groovy' Su Frizell will also present her 'Bicycle Wheels' sculpture and invite all ages to help weave her wonderful wheel creation live on Broad Street.

This free, family friendly event is organised by Oxford City Council with support from Berkshire Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust and Magdalen College School and from Arts Council England National Lottery funding.
