Ags Connolly

Dolly Mavies

Erin Tiger Lilley
Nightowls
Handy Voices Signing Choir

Ags Connolly

Ags Connolly is a traditional country singer-songwriter from Oxfordshire, England. Ags’ influences come essentially from hardcore country songwriters like David Allan Coe, Johnny Paycheck and Dale Watson. However, he also takes major singer-songwriter influences from the likes of Guy Clark, Loudon Wainwright III and Chris Knight.

Ags’ second album, ‘Nothin’ Unexpected’, was released in February 2017. Its release led Country Music People magazine to declare him “the best singer-songwriter in the country filed that this country has ever turned out” and John Godfrey from The Troubador Show to label it “the best country album to come out of the UK from the best ever UK country artist”.

Kelly Oliver

Singer-songwriter, guitarist and harmonicist influenced mainly by acoustic, contemporary and traditional folk music. In 2016, Kelly was awarded Breakout Artist at the Cambridge NMG Awards, after winning Best Female Solo Artist at the same awards in 2015. She was awarded Female Artist of the Year 2016 in the FATEA Awards and her 2016 album 'Bedlam' was Runner Up for both Crossover Album 2016 by Folk Phenomena and Best Album from a Female Artist from Folkwords.

She travelled to Kansas City USA in February 2017 to attend the largest folk conference in the world, the Folk Alliance International, as one of their Official Showcase Artists. Her earlier travels around Brazil inspired her summer single 'Rio', released in 2016 by Folkstock Records, and it was been played on BBC Radio 2 by Bob Harris, Alex Lester and Clare Balding, as well as BBC 6 Music by Chris Hawkins.

Ethemia

All across the country everybody’s talking about Ethemia – the ground breaking acoustic duo from Gloucestershire which is made up of Michaela Mott and Berny Poulton.

Having played together solidly for nearly three years they are attracting ever increasing volumes of plaudits and media attention.

Known as “one of the hardest working bands on the circuit” having performed over 350 gigs and appeared on over 40 radio stations including BBC Introducing, BBC Musicians’ Masterclass, and were recently featured on BBC Radio 2 for 'Faith in the World Week'. Their sound brings Fleetwood Mac and The Beautiful South to mind, but their trademark charismatic on-stage chemistry suggests ‘The Civil Wars’.

Dolly Mavies

Dolly Mavies is a Singer/Songwriter based between Oxford and London; with Welsh roots and soulful sounds, Dolly's music captivates, with haunting vocals and ambient tones. Her combination of folk, soul and acoustic guitar create an emotive and poetic soundscape channelling life, love and loss. Dolly Mavies has been likened to artists such as: Florence and the Machine, London Grammar and Daughter.

Genevieve Miles

From the Cotswolds emerges this unique and sparkling blend of Pop, Country and Folk. At just 17, Genevieve is a surprisingly prolific writer and experienced performer with wide appeal. Her live performances are upbeat and uplifting; delivered with energy, sentiment & charm.

Erin Tiger Lilley

A singer/songwriter whose musical style is acoustic/pop. Her biggest performances to date include The Banbury Folk Festival, Bloxfest, Festival In The Forest, Bo Peep Cider Festival, Witney Music Festival, the store opening of John Lewis in Birmingham, the Culture Catwalk Stage during Birmingham’s Big Weekend and most recently Free Radio Live at the LG Arena.

Handy Voices

Handy Voices is affiliated to the charity, 'Music and the Deaf'. Their vision is to bring the joy of music to all audiences by adding the beauty of British Sign Language. The choir is mixed with hearing, hard of hearing and deaf members, and were a hit with the crowds at Cogges in 2016.

Witney Music Festival is a not-for-profit music event staged over 17 days across venues throughout Witney. See their website for more details. All music is included in Cogges entry fees, or free for season ticket holders. A cash bar will be available.
