Timing:
10am - 1pm
Cost:
£30
Hat making, fascinator making

Create your own beautiful, vintage-inspired fascinator in just a few hours! In this workshop, you will learn traditional millinery techniques to cover and trim a round button base, and to attach a concealed clip or comb. You will also learn how to make some easy fabric flowers to decorate your creation, and to add a little merry widow veiling for that vintage feel.

By the end of the session, you will have a finished piece of your own design to take home and wear.

No prior knowledge of millinery is needed, just a little hand sewing.

Tutor Beth Paton is a designer-maker, fashion history nerd and incorrigible mapgie! She is the 'B' behind Madame B's Boutique http://mme-b-boutique.com/

All materials and tools will be provided but if you would like to bring your own fabric or trimmings from home as well, you are welcome to do so. Please bring a basic sewing kit ie needles, pins, scissors.

£30 to include all materials, tea & coffee
