Make a fabulously fun skirt in time for summer. Choose from two styles, a circle or a wrap skirt. Depending on your choice, either learn how to create your pattern or adapt an existing pattern. A great way to learn how a garment starts off life in 2D.

Equipment:
Please bring:
- A basic sewing kit to include: fabric scissors, tape measure, pins, chalk, ruler.

- 1.5m fabric for a 19.5" (knee length) skirt with a width of 60" off the fabric roll. Think about the pattern you choose and whether or not you would like it to match at the seams. (please wash the fabric beforehand to reduce shrinkage). Matching thread.

- 1m of 2" or 3" wide elastic (Circle skirt only) this will be the waistband, so a decorative or plain elastic can be used.

- Sewing machine if you have one (there will be the use of 3 machines on a first come first served basis)
