Venue, Timing and Cost

Venue:
Headington - my home studio
Date(s):
Saturday, 8 April 2017
Timing:
9.30am - 12.30pm
Cost:
£35

Working with music and sound:

A class using a wide range of music, from acoustic piano to jazz and pop, and sounds including rain, silence and the shipping forecast. The sounds will be the subject matter for your artwork, and I will encourage you to interpret this visually in different ways.

My experiential art workshops are for you if you…

- You are an artist, musician, or writer who would like to come and make some art outside of your usual creative space or in a different way
- Would like to experience a really mindful and unusual way of making art
- Are experiencing creative block or feel stuck in a creative rut

What do they involve?

Each 3 hour workshop has a different theme, enabling you to be really curious and experimental with the way you make art. There will be a range of art materials available to use including charcoal, paints, pastels and inks. All equipment is included, as well as refreshments and homemade cake! These classes are suitable for all abilities.

My approach

My experiential art workshops are very much inspired by my experience on my art foundation course, which still to this day was the best educational and creative experience I have had. I loved the back to basics and exploratory nature in the way we were taught, as well as the idea of putting yourself out of your comfort zone, and I try and recreate this feel in my workshops.

How to book

To book one or more dates on my experiential workshops, please email me. I ask for a £10 non-refundable deposit to reserve your space for each session, and full payment is due before the workshop starts.
