St Peter's Wolvercote Jennings organ

The first public recital featuring St Peter's Wolvercote's Jennings organ, installed and dedicated at the end of 2016.

Recitalist: David Bednall, Organist of the University of Bristol, Sub Organist at Bristol Cathedral, conductor of the University Singers composer and pianist. Read more about David’s life and work at www.davidbednall.com.

Programme to include works by Bach, Widor, Howells & an improvisation on William H Ferguson’s tune “Wolvercote” originally written c.1910 for the hymn “O Jesus I Have Promised”. Ferguson studied at Oxford.
