Last season Savitri gave recitals and took part in masterclasses across Europe, made her debut at Carnegie’s Weill Hall and appeared as soloist with the Bournemouth Symphony, English Chamber, Welsh National Opera and Birmingham Sinfonia Orchestras. Engagements this season include a return to Wigmore Hall and her debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a series of performances of the Mendelssohn Concerto.
Like Savitri, Richard Uttley has been selected for the Young Classical Artist Trust. Recent performances include recitals at Wigmore Hall, the Auditorium du Louvre and Berlin Konzerthaus, and concertos with the Hull Philharmonic and De Havilland Philharmonic Orchestras. A committed exponent of new music, Richard has recently premiered new works by Francisco Coll, Michael Cutting and Naomi Pinnock at the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival.
