Green Pail with wooden handle

Join me at the Henley School of Art, for an enjoyable evening, learning how to make a Japanese inspired Pail. These charming slab build vessels are based on the Japanese water buckets or "mis baketsu". Suitable for all levels of experience, including beginners. The maximum class size is 8 so there will be plenty of one to one guidance and support. I have 10 years experience in teaching Ceramics to adults, from beginners to Level 2 qualifications.

You will be able to make 2 Pails, which you can decorate using underglazes. I will show you how to attach the handles, so that you can fit your own once your Pails are fired

The cost is £35 pp - includes all materials, glazing and firings. Your Pails will be delivered to you approximately 3 weeks after the Workshop.

To book a place or for more information, please PM me.
I will send joining details upon receiving payment. Please note I am unable to refund places within 2 weeks of the Workshop date.

Adults and over 14s welcome. Under 16 years accompanied with adult please.

I am happy to arrange similar workshops either in your own studio or at the Henley School of Art - please contact me to discuss your ideas.
