Would you like to train as a Bronze and Silver Arts Award Adviser?

Assist young people to explore the arts, learn new skills, take part in cultural activities and share their new found knowledge with others by becoming an Arts Award Adviser. OYAP Trust is a Training Agency offering training opportunities, lead information, advice and guidance for the Arts Award in the South East. We are holding a Bronze and Silver Arts Award Adviser training day this October.
Helen Le Brocq from OYAP Trust will deliver this session. Helen has been involved in delivering Arts Award since 2005, in a variety of diverse settings and has led young artists in various creative fields through the different stages of their arts awards journeys.

What are the Arts Awards?

Arts Award is a national qualification which supports young people aged 11-25 to develop as artists and arts leaders. It offers a flexible framework for accrediting young people's creative development and can be delivered in many different settings, and within varying timescales. Training as an adviser is the first step in getting going with Arts Award. Advisers support, mentor and assess young people working towards awards. The training day will include a variety of presentations, case studies and discussions. You will leave equipped and trained to deliver both the Bronze and Silver Arts Award.
